In 2018 Columbus-based artists and arts organizations will celebrate the centennial of the Harlem Renaissance.

Some upcoming events you can look forward to include:

• Lawrence Lemon will bring a diverse collection of dance pieces to Broad and High streets downtown with Four Corners.
• The creation of new Short North murals by African American artists.
• The King Lincoln and Short North neighborhoods will showcase performances, exhibitions, tours and other events.
• A series of community conversations with authors and scholars focusing on the lasting impact of the Harlem Renaissance curated by noted author and Columbus native Wil Haygood.
• Lyric Lounge at the Lincoln Theatre, an evening of performances from local writers and poets, hosted by Wil Haygood.
